What is a puppy 121 for?

Beginners puppy school is designed for owners who want to train their puppy at home at their own pace or for puppies that are too young to attend classes.

There are three levels of puppy school and you can do as little or as much as you would like. Each training session is designed around your puppy so we can adapt the learning to suit you both. The session is interactive and fun.

Your puppy can start training as soon as you bring them home. During the session we cover the basics including Sits, Stays, Downs, Recall, Lead walking and anything you specifically want or need for your puppy.

Where do puppy 121's take place?

Where puppy is not vaccinated I will visit your home, if puppy is vaccinated puppy 121s can take place at your home or at one of our training venues.

We found Zoe through the Blue Cross after seriously considering rehoming Spud our Jack Russell. Spud had started to ignore us and every day life was becoming impossible as everything we tried did not work with him. Zoe reassured us on the phone before she even saw Spud, and thankfully she was right. I couldn't believe Spud was doing so much in just 2 hours. Not just for me, but for my wife and kids too. Zoe is an absolute marvel and worked with us to ensure we had everything we needed to do the training with Spud. We have just enrolled for group classes as we have the confidence that Spud will really enjoy learning and so will we!

We have a 6 year old border terrier, then introduced a border terrier puppy in to the family. As she was too young for classes (not fully covered by jabs)we decided to start training early at home. Zoe was brilliant, both myself (an experienced dog owner - or so I thought!?) and my 5 year old daughter learnt so much and it's really paying off, we have a 4 month old puppy who's much more obedient than her 6 year old companion. As we're restricted with levels of exercise at this age, we use training in the evenings to both bond with our new girl and keep her mind active. We wish we'd have done this with our older dog, but he's really keen to join in and learn new tricks - especially when there are treats about:-)I'd recommend a 1-2-1 session for any new puppy owner, I'm now keen to go on the puppy course too, knowing that we have a great foundation to build from.
