We train at a variety of outdoor locations with our main venue at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Ipswich. So not only are you training your own puppy, you are also helping rescues in need by attending our sessions as we make donations to the Blue Cross for every class we run. All of our locations are outdoors to ensure your puppy has the most comprehensive reaslitic training experience. Research has shown puppies learn more when training outdoors as they are able to learn to focus on you rather than the distractions that outside life can offer young inquisitive minds. Puppy training is fun and convenient and you can book as many blocks of 6 or 10 as you require as the classes are progressive and tailored to each and every dog attending so they are always learning something new.
Puppy training classes cover a range of obedience and life skill training and here are a just a few areas we cover:
- Impulse control
- Scent detection
- Trick training
- Lead walking
- Doggy manners
- Training with hand and verbal signals
Puppy training is particularly useful for puppies that are too young to expel their energy on long walks as it stimulates their minds, develops them for life and gives puppies great physical exercise without putting strain on their little limbs!
Puppies can train as soon as they have had their second vaccination. For puppies that are not vaccinated a puppy school 121 session can be booked and carried out at your home to ensure they get a head start before attending classes.
In addition to the standard obedience classes we also offer puppy and dog activity classes, which are also a great way to learn obedience, co-ordination and balance and build a bond between dog and owner. Puppy and dog activity classes can be booked in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 10 weeks and due to the nature of the classes dogs and puppies can do these classes throughout their lives.
I am fully qualified and independantly accredited by a number of organisations and I train using force free modern training techniques.
