Classes for puppies at Colchester

Overview

Otis came to Best Behaviour as a young dog as his owners were having some struggles with him on walks. He was barking at everything, including passing dogs. This was quite worrying for his owners, so they got in touch to help him out.

Thanks to the hard work of this team, Otis is coming along leaps and bounds. He is now attending classes and is on route to achieving his bronze certificate. He is able to focus and learn, even with other dogs around.

Process

Otis started out with a 121 session with one of our trainers. After lots of hard work, and practising the skills they learnt in that 121, Otis was then able to attend group classes at our outdoor venue in Colchester. This has allowed him to continue to grow his confidence and skills. He now is doing really well in classes, and alongside building his confidence around other dogs he has also been working on the following:

-loose lead walking skills

-recall

- fun tricks

-handling

Result

Thanks to his humans wanting to give Otis the very best, they were able to quickly build his confidence and help him feel safe and secure. He now gets to practise his new found skills in a safe environment and it is lovely to see him continue to grow and flourish every week
