Labrador Puppy Training at Colchester

Overview

Pippa and her humans came to our Sunday classes in Colchester when Pippa was 6 months old. She was on her second home and hadn't yet learnt any of the important skills we like our dogs to learn to set them up for success.

Some skills she has learnt with us:

- basic training
- loose lead walking
- socialisation
- confidence building

Pippa and her humans have worked very hard and it has been such an honour to watch her blossom and grow in confidence. Together, they have achieved their bronze certificate, enjoyed one of our great power hours and continue to set her up for success with classes

Process

Pippa attended our group classes in Colchester. At our outdoor venue she got to learn lots of behaviours, all while experiencing lots of sights and smells.
She also attended our socialisation power hour at the blue cross in Ipswich.

Some behaviours Pippa has learnt :

-appropriate greetings
- fantastic loose lead walking skills
- handling skills
- a lovely recall
- some fun tricks

Result

Pippa has come along leaps and bounds since her first class, and her confidence continues to grow daily. She has particularly benefitted from learning in a group environment, especially as she heads towards adolescence. It has been so wonderful watching all their hard work
