Loki is a typical spaniel that has lots of bounce and likes to do spaniel things like sniffing! Loki’s owners clearly work on their homework between classes and have done a fabulous job, which they have also noticed as they say that Loki loves his classes and has come so far in 8 weeks of classes. As well as the puppy classes Loki took part in gun dog classes too and has excelled at this already. We look forward to seeing Loki’s future successes!
Loki has been attending classes at our Blue Cross site in Ipswich. He has also attended our fun gundog classes at Barham.
Being an outdoor venue, Loki has worked on a range of behaviours around dogs, wildlife and other distractions. Some of the behaviours we have covered in classes include:

Heel work - on and off lead

Place
General cues - sit/down/stay
Loki started attending our puppy and dog training classes and was a typical spaniel, very bouncy and excitable. Over the past 3 months he has come on leaps and bounds and has started to progress to off lead heel work and doing sit stays around other dogs. His owner was also able to carry a cup of water in class whilst practising loose lead walking!
Loki’s impulse control during classes has also improved greatly, which can be observed through his ability to stay with his owner, or on a place board, when practising off lead work during gundog classes.
